How did you get started? - In our spare time we stared writing sitcom series. We then got into filming our own material after working with Goora Services. Now we feel by shooting our own material, we're able to own the whole creative process.
How do you find your actors? - We have used friends, who act, in our films but mostly the actors come to us through word of mouth. Usually they're looking to expand their own portfolio or just looking to make a quality film with down to earth and fun filmmakers.
What kind of camera do you use? - We use the Panasonic AG DVX 100B camera.
What other equipment do you need to shoot a film? - In filming we use boom mikes, lighting and sound kits when necessary. We like to shoot with two cameras to allow for different angles and cut down on shooting time.
How long does the process take? From writing the script to the final edit. - This really depends. We wrote, shoot and edited our film "Shocking Odds" in 48 hours for the "48 Hour Toronto Film Challenge". Usually it could take a couple of weeks to a couple of moths depending on the amount of time you have to spend on the project.
What kind of editing software do you use? - We use Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 for the majority of our editing.
